Call Service was established in Melbourne, Australia in 1951 by a Mrs Elly Hamilton. Her goal was to provide a confidential and reliable telephone answering service for Melbourne’s medical community that operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year. As the first 24 hour telephone answering service of its type in Australia, we pride ourselves on over 70 years of experience and continuous operation.
To this day, Call Service continues to operate as a family owned business in Melbourne, Australia meaning all calls are answered and processed locally.

As the field of personal communications expanded with the introduction of electronic and digital pagers in the 1970′s and 1980′s and the rise of virtual receptionist, Call Service has strived to provide its clients with access to the latest technology, while at the same time maintaining its commitment to professional, friendly service.
